Beautiful Backyard Wedding
Wedding season has come to a close and I'm coming to accept that...... So I'm taking this time while its wet, cold and dark outside to reflect on my weddings from this season. In July ...... Back in the warm sunshine...... I had the pleasure of being a part of Daniel and Melanie's wedding day. I love backyard weddings, they always seem so laid back and super personal. Melanie and Daniel's wedding was most defiantly laid back and so wonderfully personal. Originally the two wanted to elope just the two of them down in Robson Square but the universe seemed to have other plans making. Due to some circumstances they were unable to elope during the get married in the square event that happens in Downtown Vancouver every year. This changed their plans and let their family have the opportunity to witness the two exchange their heartfelt personal vows.
Every little detail of their wedding was so special from their location down to their rings. Everything was pieces of love and hard work from their family. They got married at Daniel's Grandparents front yard under a handmade arch that Daniel's mom and other family members had worked so incredibly hard on. Even some of the flowers in the arch were from personal family member's gardens. Their rings were gifts from Daniel's Grandparents and had been their original wedding rings.
There were so many unforgettable moments that touched my heart. Melanie had expected to have artificial flowers for her bouquets and her aunt surprised her with two gorgeous bouquets and a stunning floral crown from Florista Flower Studio. Another moment that made me tear up was during their ceremony Daniel presented his Step daughter with a ring as he was not only just marrying her mom but also gaining a daughter. This wedding touched my heart and I was so happy to be a part of it.
