Eighteen Pastures Wedding
Camillia and Dominic were my kind of people. These two kept smiling and turned lemons into lemonaid during their big day. Just days before their I do's Camillia messaged me in a panic as their venue's roof was under construction and was covered in a big giant ugly blue tarp. I did my best to reassure her that we would avoid having it in the background for photos and in the end no one would really remember what the roof looked like anyways. Not only was the roof covered in a blue tarp the weather also called for rain. I typically have good luck when it comes to the weather but not this particular september afternoon.
All morning Camillia and bridesmaids were all smiles and laughs even with the shocking news that her parents had forgotten her dress at home! Lets just say this bride was a total champ as she proceeded to laugh and enjoy while getting ready. No harm or foul as her parents showed up with tons of time for her to recieve her gorgeous dress.
Their ceremony was moved indoors due to the rain but once again this couple perserviered. Their oldest son pulled his younger brother in on a wagon which was the cutest moment. Their vows were hillariously heart felt showing their true love as well as their humor that they share together.
Camillia already pre warned me that she wanted a ton of post ceremony photos. We had a moment of luck since the rain held off for us to get a bunch of beautiful photos of the two of them and finished almost all of their family photos before it started the down pour. The day continued on with the theme of laughter and love. Their family had great stories to share of the couple growing up and of course some more jokes along the way. It was so fun to see a family that shared a sense of humor that enterained us all night long. The most entertaining moment of all was Dominic suprise dance to The Git up by Blanco Brown. Lets just say he has much better dance moves than I.
Every wedding touches me personally in some kind of way. After this wedding I had sore cheeks from smiling and a sore gut from laughing. I truly belive humor is an important piece in life. If you take life too seriously you will miss out on enjoying it.
